Tables
Every table type available in Folia — rounds, rectangles, feast tables, sweetheart tables, and cocktail tables.
Adding a table to your seating chart starts with clicking Add Table in the toolbar. A panel opens with four tabs — Round, Rectangular, Sweetheart, and Other — each showing a visual preview of every available size. Choose the table that matches what your venue is providing, and Folia places it on the canvas at real-world scale relative to the grid.
Round Tables
Round tables are the most common choice for wedding receptions. Folia includes six sizes ranging from an intimate 36-inch cocktail-style table up to a 72-inch banquet round that seats a full party of twelve. Most sizes let you adjust the seat count within a range — useful if your venue is mixing 60-inch and 66-inch rounds but you want to lock seats at eight for all of them.

Rectangular Tables
Rectangular tables come in 6-foot and 8-foot lengths. Some seat guests only along the long sides, while others include head seats at the short ends. Which type you choose determines whether you'll see head seat options when assigning guests — more on that in the Removing Heads of Table section below.

Long Feast / Harvest / Kings Tables
Feast tables — also called harvest tables or kings tables — are wide 48-inch tables designed for communal dining. Unlike standard rectangular tables that seat guests only along their length, feast tables place two seats side by side at each short end, so guests sit all the way around the table in a more social arrangement.
Folia offers four feast table lengths to match your venue's furniture:

To add a feast table, click Add Table, go to the Rectangular tab, and select the feast table size that matches your setup. The table appears on the canvas with seats along both long sides and two seats paired at each short end. You can rotate it to fit your room layout by selecting it and using the rotation handle.
Sweetheart Tables
A sweetheart table is a small table set apart for the couple alone — just two seats, placed prominently at the head of the room. Folia offers six shapes so you can match the style of your reception: round, rectangular, and half-moon (D-shaped). The half-moon shape is especially popular because the flat back faces the room, giving guests an unobstructed view of the couple.

Optional Table Numbers
Sweetheart tables are unnumbered by default — they're typically called out by name rather than by number on a seating chart. If your layout uses numbered tables throughout and you want the sweetheart table included in that sequence, you can enable a table number from within the table's guest panel. Open the panel by double-clicking the table, then toggle on Show Table Number and enter the number you want displayed.
Removing Heads of Table
On rectangular and feast tables that include head seats, you have full control over whether those end seats are used. This matters when a table is pushed against a wall, when you want more legroom at the ends, or when the room layout simply doesn't allow seating at one side.
To configure head seats, double-click the table to open its guest panel and find the Head Seats option. You can set it to:
- Both — seats at both short ends are active (default)
- Left Only — only the left-end seat(s) are active
- Right Only — only the right-end seat(s) are active
- None — no end seats; the table seats guests only along its long sides
When you hide head seats, any guests already assigned to those positions are automatically unassigned and returned to the unassigned guest list. If you re-enable those seats later, they come back empty and ready to be assigned again.
Cocktail Tables
The cocktail table (24-inch round) is a decorative element — it holds zero seats and does not appear in your guest assignment panel. Use it to mark cocktail hour stations, lounge areas, or welcome table spots on your floor plan. To label it, select the table and edit its name directly on the canvas.
