Troubleshooting

What each message before publishing means and how to fix it, plus help when a form won't show, is cut off, or isn't bringing in contacts.

Find your problem below, then click it to see the fix.

"Before this can go live"

If something would stop your form from working, clicking Publish shows a list called Before this can go live instead of publishing. The same problems show on the Questions tab: a problem with one question shows on that question, and the rest show above your questions. Fix each one, then click Publish again.

In the messages below, "Question" stands for the name of your question.

"This form isn't available"

Couples see this page when your form isn't live. It shows on the form's link and wherever you've put the form on your website.

The page couples see when a form isn't live, which says This form isn't available

It means one of these:

  • The form is a draft. It has never been published. Open the form and click Publish.
  • The form was unpublished. Open the form and click Publish again.
  • The form is archived. On your forms page, click Archived, click ⋯ on the form's card, then Restore. Then open the form and click Publish.
  • The link was copied wrong. Open the form, click Share, and copy the link again.

Once the form is live, the same link and the same code on your website work again. There's nothing to update.

Inquiries and contacts

The form on your directory profile

A form with a Directory profile badge is the one couples use to contact you from your Folia directory profile.

  • Your profile always has one. Folia gives it a standard form with the usual questions. You can edit those questions or switch to another published form.
  • It stays live while your profile uses it. Clicking Unpublish or Archive explains this instead. To take the form down, first choose a different form in your profile's Inquiries section. The message has a Go to Inquiries button that takes you there.
  • Your logo is left off it. Your profile already shows your name, so the logo appears only on the form's own page and on your website. Your colors and style still apply.

Inquiries from your profile that Folia holds for review also show at the top of Contacts. See Inquiries from your directory profile.
